Term Time Campus Accommodation System (TCAS) Online has signed three licence agreements with thirdlevel institutions in Ireland in nine months. Valued at €100,000, the deals with Griffith College Dublin, NUI Maynooth and NUI Galway are for the provision of an integrated web-based solution to manage student accommodation.

A market research firm based in Britain has paid €500,000 to take a minority stake in Irish-owned social media agency Simply Zesty. The move, by The Oxford Research Agency (Tora), a market research company specialising in FMCG and customer experience, values the Dublin agency at more than €1 million.

Ireland strikes back

It was always going to take something special to help dispel the jobs gloom – so who better than a jedi knight to bring some good news? Gaming giant Electronic Arts (EA) plans to hire 200 people at a customer service and operations centre in Galway after landing a deal to develop a Star Wars video game.
