Microsoft’s Olympic deal

Microsoft has signed a deal with the Special Olympics organisation that will see it donate its recently developed Business Productivity Online software to the group. The agreement was signed at the ‘Partnering for Success’ conference in Dublin last week and came about as the result of Microsoft Ireland volunteers working with the Special Olympics organisation in Ireland.
The software will allow Special Olympics organisations in Europe and Asia to share documents and discuss them online with colleagues around the world, which Microsoft said should help reduce travel costs and improve efficiency.
