HP sustainable servers

HP has announced that 15 of its servers have to date been accredited by Sustainable Energy Ireland (SEI). The body oversees the Accelerated Capital Allowance tax incentive scheme, which covers IT equipment that is deemed to be energy efficient. The scheme allows businesses to write off 100 per cent of the capital cost of the equipment against their taxable income in the same year.
